People share photos, videos, music and words on Capsemble. If you believe something on Capsemble uses your work without your permission, tell us and we will act quickly.

Who to send it to

Copyright Agent, LYBOTECH Group Pty Ltd
Email: support@capsemble.com (subject: “Copyright notice”)

What to include

  1. The work you say is being copied, or a list if there are several.
  2. Where it is on Capsemble: the link to the page, photo, video or event.
  3. Your name, postal address, phone number and email.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or may act for the owner.
  6. Your signature: typing your full name is enough.

What happens next

We reply within two business days. If the notice is complete, we remove the material or turn off access to it, and let the person who shared it know, with a copy of the notice (we can leave out your contact details if you ask).

If your content was removed

If you believe it was removed by mistake, or you have the right to use it, send a counter-notice to the same address with: what was removed and where it was; a statement, made in good faith, that it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; your consent to the courts where you live (or, outside the United States, any court where Capsemble may be found) and to accept service from the person who complained; and your signature. Unless the person who complained tells us they have started court action, we restore it in 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat infringement

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly share material that infringes others' copyright. False notices can carry legal liability, so please only send one if you are sure.

For anything else that shouldn't be on Capsemble, use Report on the event or the photo, or see our acceptable-use policy.
